Knockin´ on Heaven´s Door

Until I am at once dead, I want to hear the girls and I don't want hear to hear any crying, only the jazz-band playing to God, who comes to him and what I really am - precisely in this spirit of this poem from Špitál u sv. Jakuba (The Hospital at St. Jakub) was the benefit concert, where musicians met (by far not all of them) those who had sometimes something in common with Petr Kalandra. Even his fellow-travellers played (Vlasta Třešňák, Jaroslav Hutka, Vladimír Merta), his friends of the same blues wave (Jan Spálený and ASPM, Ivan Hlas, Michal Prokop, Vladimír Mišík a ETC…) or the group, with which Petr's name remains connected to the most (count in this also solo Oskar Petr), the celebration of music hung in the air, the absence of any struggle to move itself or the hopelessly sold out Archa. It was a party with everything - there is nothing to add. It is a pity, that you, Petr, didn't come. Or did you...?
