A choreographed documentary of a love affair, showing the various qualities, kinds and phases of love. Correspondence stands out as a particular theme in the form of letters and messages crossing physical distance and in the form of disconnected dancing and unheard words. Both the mood and structure of the piece clearly evoke isolation in its various shapes and sizes. The duet draws from real experience in relationship crises caused by unspoken rules and resulting in things remaining unspoken. It plays with the idea of a happy end, but also with the risk involved, like an out-of-control game of poker. Omerzo shows us the halfway mark of the disintegration of faith, but also the moments of renewal and connection we all know from correspondence. She compares the distance between two people in different situations, picturing for us the state of the relationship. At times the pair enter into their dreams, at others they take shelter in other emotional domains. As we all know, the road to harmony is a hard one.
