OneDotZero: Digital Adventure

OneDotZero in Prague is the performance of the British group who creates art with the help of digital technologies, primarily digital film. The performance has been organized by the Terminal Foundation>, Profil Media agency (who are also co-producers of the ENTER Multimediale Festival) and the Archa Theatre.
          Since 1998, the Terminal Foundation and Profil Media have regularly been bringing artists who work in the new media to the Czech Republic. These artists have been presented within the framework of the "Artist in New Media"festival. They have brought, as an example, Australian artist Stelarc, who manipulated and danced with his robot, Exoskeleton, near the Vítkov monument.
          OneDotZero's exhibition of Digital Adventures is a two-day festival of digital films. Part of this festival includes a panel discussion on the theme "Digital Media and its Use and Development" on September 15th at 6 p.m., and the feature film about the group Radiohead, later that evening at 8 p.m. All projects are open to the public, and will take place in the large auditorium of the Archa Theatre.
          Tickets for the two-day event are 150,- Kè, 100,- Kè for students. Afternoon screenings begin at 2 p.m. and will feature the best of video-art, British advertising of 1999 and 2000, and the festival of the latest graphic effects and styles.
          The tickets for the individual performances are 50,- Kè for students and 70,- Kè for all others. Advance ticket sales began on August 15, 2000 at the Archa Theatre.

8:00 p.m. Radiohead: Meeting People is Easy
Feature film, [95 mins]
Documentary film nominated for a Grammy Award, which follows the massive Radiohead Computer Tour. It provides an opportunity of seeing not only what goes on backstage as well as on stage of the legendary band, but it also shows us the admirable life of the artists "on the road". The masterful piece combines granular black & white material with acidic colours and incredible scenes.
