The first performance of the Archa Theatre's 1998 season begins with a traditional, yet not quite traditional, evening of songs and films.

The premiere of the documentary film by Štěpán Kačírek. The film revolves around the legendary pub, with the music of Psi vojáci, Národní třída and Echt! Live music will follow the film.





Pictures and Reflections: Andrej Tarkovsij

The symbolic epic about the life of the important painter from the Middle Ages, who painted Russian Orthodox motifs.

Solstice
Petr Nikl, Jana Svobodová, Vojtěch and Irena Havlovi
The project presented by the Archa Theatre, during the Arts Alive Festival in Johannesburg, South Africa, and the Prague Cultural Week in Kyoto, Japan. The performance includes the object theatre of Petr Nikl, the puppet theatre of Jana Svobodová and the musical accompaniment of Irena and Vojtěch Havloví.

The Social Event of the Season!! Music, dance, prizes, and many other surprizes!!





Currently on exhibit in the foyer of the Archa Theatre are the photographs of Magdaléna Bláhová, Aleš Mynář, Jaroslav Prokop, Petra Růžičková and Jiří Volek. The theme of these works are the performance of the Spanish company, La Fura dels Baus, during their performance of Manes in Prague in October of this year.
