Into the Fire
For the end of its season, the Archa Theatre has managed to bring a unique project which connects the musical tradition of the East to the West. AAO is an outstanding orchestra containing soloists who break the border of jazz and classical music. Their work also breaks down the boundaries of improvisation and composition. The Sruthi Laya Ensemble is an internationally reknowned orchestra of percussionists from South India. Together, they have created a ravishing concert program which can perhaps become the beginning of the new musical style.
