Only a few people know smaller or bigger means of being humble. Only a few people have felt what it is to be a lunatic, a fool for a while - to be one who exists merely for the pleasure of the more powerful. How to get this unenviable role? There is a secret how to do it. And it will be divulged by the Old Fool, the main character in the Ghelderode play. He is the master who teaches his successors, an ensemble of adepts learning about their fool's fate. And the final lesson, because the entire activity occurs over the course of the lessons, we can compare to final examinations where students must present everything they have learned. In this instance, it is how to be a fool. And where else can you see so many professional lunatics and fools together? In the circus? On some street performance? No at all! Only in the School of Fools, charmed by Ghelderode's imagination and performed by Husa na provázku Theatre, is it an artistic ensemble who carry out the roles of almost twenty bizarre characters, the combination of the skill and humour of the fool, but also the malice with the envy.
