Last year's co-production of the Archa Theatre and the Ha Divadlo of Brno returns to the Archa stage. This production is a unique modern adaptation of the classic drama about an irreversible fate. Ján Sedal performs in the title role.

From April 13 till April 16, 2000, the Archa Theatre will host the Annual Plenary of the Informal European Theatre Meeting (IETM). Since 1991, Archa Theatre has been a member of IETM - the largest and most active organisations in the world bringing together professional artists and institutions who are currently active in the field of the performing arts. Members of IETM include theatre directors, theatre festivals, dance companies, directors of theatre institutes, as well as representatives from Ministries, foundations and associations. IETM is composed of members not only from Europe, but today from all continents. The organisers of the IETM Plenary Meeting in Prague are the Archa Theatre and the Theatre Institute in Prague.

The international project of Lenka Flory and Simone Sandroni. The newest performance of Dejá Donné Production once again brings to the stage a dance theatre filled with imagination and distinctive humour.
The production is a co-production with La Filature (Mulhouse), De Singel (Antwerp), Hebbel-Theater (Berlin), Internationales Sommertheater Festival (Hamburg).

The presentation of the Internet project ARENA - SCENIS.
The aim of this project is to create a space on the Internet for a stream of information between the theatre practitioners and the general public, primarily through the Internet database SCENIS. This database contains web sites of theatres from Central and Eastern Europe, as well as countries from the former Soviet Union.
