Marius von Mayenburg: Fireface
Marius von Mayenburg belongs to the thirty-something generation, whose plays dominate the world's stages. With distinct pure language, he paints a barren contemporary world and the relationships between people. The family setting as a battle ground, terror in the family, incestuous relationships between relatives, ritual family murders and self destruction. The young demarcate themselves from a world into which they have been cast against their will and which seems unacceptable to them. Directed by Jiří Pokorny.
