House of the Deaf - Quinta del Sordo
Inspired by the life and work of Francisco Goya
A theatre project by the director Zoja Mikotová, Archa Theatre and hearing-impaired actors - graduates from the Brno Dramatic School for the Deaf. This performance distinctively combines movement, dance, puppets, expressive music, song and light design in such a way as to allow the deaf actors to achieve an impressive testimony about the inner as well as outer world.

The main character of the performance is the sightless singer and pianist Kateryna Kolcová, whose personal statements are confronted with the poetry of the Gertrude Stein, the mother of the American artistic avant-garde.
